Description
Ramsay Place is a house dating to around 1840, situated in Ramsay Square, Fettercairn. It is constructed of rubble and is two storeys high. The front elevation has a symmetrical arrangement of windows and doors. There are three windows alternating with two doors at ground floor level. The first floor has three windows and a door, with a forestair providing access to the first-floor door, creating a porch. The ground floor windows are 8-pane sashes, with one altered, while the first-floor windows are 12-pane sashes. The roof is slate-covered, with straight skews and one end stack, and one ridge stack rebuilt in brick. The statutory address is Robertson House, Fettercairn Village.
