Description
The stable block and coachhouses date from the early 19th century and are built of red rubble with droved ashlar dressing. The building has a symmetrical front, featuring a two-storey, piend-roofed central section with two segmental coachhouse arches. Above the arches are two windows, with one deepened to form a doorway. Single-storey, two-window, piend-roofed wings extend from the central section, returning into plain flanks with doors. The stable block is part of a group of structures associated with Balbegno Castle, including items 3, 4, 6, and 7 on the heritage register.
