Description
1, 3, and 5 Bridge Street in Banff is an earlier 19th-century terrace originally consisting of four dwellings, now converted into three. The building is two stories high with an attic and features a six-bay facade. The front is made of rubble, with a harled return gable facing the Old Market Place, and has tooled granite ashlar margins.
On the ground floor facing Bridge Street, there are three doorways (one of which is blocked) and windows located in the outer bays. The first floor has four windows, and there are two modern box dormers. The glazing is varied throughout the building. The return gable to the Old Market Place has a regular two-bay arrangement with 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows, along with a pair of small attic lights.
The building features coped end stacks and a slate roof.
