Description
This building is a steading, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is a single-storey structure with a rectangular plan and a piend roof, featuring five bays. The exterior has patchy lime harl over coursed rubble, with squared long and short quoins and voussoirs.
On the south elevation, there is a segmental-headed cart arch at the center, with irregularly-disposed doors in the flanking bays. The west elevation has a single door located on the outer left. All doors are made of boarded timber. The roof is covered with grey slates and includes traditional cast-iron roof lights.
Inside, some original fittings have been preserved, including a feeding byre with mangers and stone troughs, as well as some cobbled floors.
