Description
Glen Tanar Church is a 17th-century building featuring a crowstepped west gable and remains of its foundations. The structure is made of pink and grey granite rubble. On the west elevation, there is an infilled window with chamfered reveals, while the east elevation includes a tombstone set into the wall. Surrounding the church is a rectangular-plan granite rubble boundary wall topped with rubble coping. There is a datestone to the right of the iron gate in the south wall that reads "18.1884". The site also contains a variety of tombstones.
