Description

  1. 1589 BOTALLACK --------- Botallack Manor House SW 33 SE 1/22 26.4.50. II* GV

  2. C17. Of uncoursed granite rubble, L-shaped plan. Facade 2 storeys, 4 windows. Small, widely spaced C19 double-hung sashes without glazing bars. Entrance porch, each side formed of a single upright slab of granite approximately 7 ft by 5 ft and 6 ins thick. Date stone, 1665. At the rear, a small gabled projection for the staircase in the centre of the main block. 2 large granite chimney stacks with moulded caps, 3 later brick stacks. Slate roof, low gable parapets with volute kneelers.
