Description

The dovecot, dated 1638, is a circular structure built of pinned split boulder rubble. It tapers in a barrel shape with two distinct courses of stone, corbeling to form square gables with crow-stepped detailing. Recessed boxes with ledges are set into the wall, although they are now much damaged. The dovecot is situated in Auchmacoy.
