Description
Ardlogie House is a large, two-story house dating from the 1830s. It was originally built with squared, rough-hewn stone, with red sandstone dressings on the front facade. A consoled doorpiece is a prominent feature. The gables are harled, and the rear of the building is similarly finished. The roof is low-pitched with broad eaves. A bow-fronted staircase projects from the rear of the building. In 1906, James Duncan added bay windows and a single-story addition to the property.
