Description

This is a former manse, also known as Westwood House, built in 1844. It was designed by James Henderson. The house is single-storey with an attic, arranged in a roughly L-shaped layout. A prominent front doorpiece features a round arch and a stepped hood mould, which shows the influence of the designs of James Smith for Learney House and Skene Manse. Contracts for the building were advertised in the Aberdeen Journal on 3rd July 1844.
