Description

The walled garden at The Old Manse, Kinellar, dates to 1778, as indicated by a skew date. It is a two-story and basement structure built of squared granite, with small pinnings on the front, gables, and rear, which is harled. The front facade has three windows, featuring a staircase window at half-landing level. A later attic dormer has been added. A Victorian front wing has been removed and replaced with a centre porch that harmonizes with the original design.

The garden is enclosed by a rubble-built wall, likely of the same period, incorporating a 1615 datestone.
