Description

The Old Manse is a two-storey and basement house with an attic, dated 1778 and built of squared granite with small pinnings to the front, gables, and rear, the rear being harled. The front facade has three windows, with a central staircase window positioned at half-landing level. A later attic dormer has been added. A Victorian front wing has been removed and replaced with a porch that harmonises with the original design. A rubble-built garden wall, likely of a similar date, stands nearby, containing a datestone bearing the inscription 1615. The property also includes a walled garden.
