Description

Dated SAG 1749, perhaps designed by James Fordyce.

Single-storey and loft coursed granite with cherry-cocking,

skewputts, openings checked where original; kiln added

slightly later, enclosing 'start-and awe' Wheel, workings

probably 1898 when additions were made. National Gas Engine,

brick kiln. Complete but disused.
