Description
The building is a mill located in Kirkton of Monymusk, dated 1749 and possibly designed by James Fordyce. It is a single-storey structure made of coursed granite with cherry-cocking. The mill features skewputts and openings that have been checked where they are original. A kiln was added slightly later, enclosing a 'start-and awe' wheel, with workings likely from 1898 when further additions were made. The mill also includes a National Gas Engine and a brick kiln. Although it is complete, the mill is currently disused.
