Description
North Aucmachar Farmhouse is believed to have been built around 1795, possibly a little later. The building is two storeys high with three windows and features harled walls without margins. It retains its original woodwork. The farmhouse includes a single-storey wing that has a well-preserved kitchen, complete with an unaltered hearth that has a sway. Additionally, there is a tall self-cleaning chimney, although the chain of apparatus is now broken.
