Description
The Raemoir Hotel Annex, dated 1715, is a two-storey, five-bay T-plan Laird's House located on a rural estate in Aberdeenshire. It is constructed from Hill of Fare red granite rubble and features a studded timber door with an oval fanlight that has decorative glazing. Above the door, there is an armorial panel and a larger oval light, also with decorative glazing. The principal elevation has chamfered openings, while the rear includes some narrow leaded lights.
The windows are predominantly replacement 12-pane timber sash and case. The roof is slate and pitched, with piended roofs on the projecting end bays. The end stacks are made of rubble and have chamfered copes.
The interior, observed in 2013, mainly dates from the early 20th century. It includes a central hall with a flagstone floor and a timber staircase, along with panelled timber doors.
