Description
43 High Street in Pittulie is an early to mid-19th century single-storey cottage with a dormerless attic. The cottage has been later heightened and features a south gable facing the street. It is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted reveals. The entrance is centrally located, with a window to the left at the extreme outer edge of the bay that allows a view of the street. There is a single ground floor window on the south gable and a small attic window. The later heightening was done to accommodate modern rear dormers. Additionally, there is a single-storey extension on the north side, which is the seaward gable, and it has modern two-pane glazing. The cottage has coped end stacks and a concrete tiled roof.
