The cottage has a rubble frontage with contrasting painted joints, while the other sides are harled with contrasting painted margins. The entrance is off-centre, and there is a single ground-level window and a small attic window in the eastern gable, both with 4-pane glazing. The roof is slate, and there are coped end stacks.
