23 Shorehead, Stonehaven

24 Shorehead in Stonehaven is a plain two-storey, five-bay terraced small tenement building from the early to mid-19th century, which has been altered. It has a rectangular plan and is set against steeply rising ground. The front is rendered and painted, while the rear is constructed of brick. Notable features include a band course and projecting cills.

On the principal (east) elevation, number 23 has two bays on the right, featuring a part-glazed timber door on the right and a single window to the left. Above, there are two windows on the first floor and a slate-hung polygonal-roofed canted dormer. Number 24 has three bays to the left, with a part-glazed timber door in the center, broad openings on either side with vertically-boarded timber shutters, and deep-set full-height windows. The first floor has regular fenestration, with two slate-hung polygonal-roofed canted dormer windows above.

The rear (west) elevation appears as a single storey due to the steeply rising ground. It features replacement timber sash and case windows with 4-pane and plate glass glazing patterns. The roof is covered with grey slates and has coped and rendered ridge and gablehead stacks, some with cans.
