Description

Cromlet Bank, located on South Road in Old Meldrum, dates from around 1820. It features a broad-gabled, two-storey main block with three windows, which is harled and has surface granite margins. The entrance is highlighted by a consoled doorpiece, and there are later additions of quarried granite bay windows. The building also includes single-storey side screen walls that have a cornice and stepped blocking courses, with the centers of these walls advanced and featuring a single consoled window.
