Description
This building is a cottage located at 13 Skateraw Road in Newtonhill, dating from around 1800. It is a single-storey and attic structure with three bays and a small addition to the west gable. It is the end cottage of a row of three. The exterior is harled, topped with a grey slate roof that features terracotta ridge tiles. The front has two-pane timber sash and case windows with narrow painted margins, while the rear includes two large leaded windows that are not in keeping with the original style. The cottage has ashlar-coped skews and coped, rendered stacks.
On the front elevation, there is a two-leaf door at the center, flanked by a window on each side, and two dormers above. The rear elevation has three windows and a rooflight. The interior has not been seen.
