St Devenick's Episcopal Church And Rectory, North Deeside Road, Cults, Bieldside, Aberdeen

St Devenick's Episcopal Church and Rectory, built between 1902 and 1903 by Arthur Clyne, is designed in the Late Scots Gothic style, showing the influence of Marshall Mackenzie in its details. The church has a cruciform shape and is aisleless, featuring a southwest tower. The west window is adorned with basket tracery. It is constructed from grey irregularly coursed granite with red dressings, demonstrating great attention to detail and masonry technique. Inside, there is a wooden wagon roof and a wooden arch leading to the chancel arch. A notable feature is a three-arch firestone and red granite screen designed by William Butterfield in 1849, originally from St. Ninian's Cathedral in Perth. Additionally, there is a painted glass window, possibly from around 1838, that was relocated from St. Andrew's in Aberdeen to the east wall of the south transept.
