Description
Circa 1900. 2-storey, 3-bay villa. Tooled coursed grey granite ashlar, finely finished to margins of SE elevation; Aberdeen bond granite rubble to remainder. Base course; dividing band course; 1st floor cill course; segmental-arched windows to 1st floor; eaves course; overhanging eaves on paired brackets.
SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical; corniced doorway to centre bay of ground floor, stone steps to 2-leaf panelled timber door with letterbox fanlight; single window to centre of 1st floor above; 3-light canted windows to bays to left and right of ground floor parapets forming balconies to 1st floor, bipartite windows to 1st floor with pilastered mullions.
NE ELEVATION: central gablet; window to centre of 1st floor, bipartite window flanking to right; single storey and attic wing adjoining to outer right.
NW ELEVATION: single storey and attic wing advanced to left, segmental-arched etched stair window to centre bay of 1st floor; remainder not seen 2000.
SW ELEVATION: blank; central gablet.
Predominantly 2-pane timber sash and case windows. Piended grey slate roof with lead ridges. Coped wallhead stacks with square-plan cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
INTERIOR: staircase survives; remainder not seen 2000.
GATEPIERS AND BOUNDARY WALLS: square-plan gatepiers to SE (shared with adjacent properties), low coped wall between; brick and granite coped rubble walls to remainder.
