Former railway bridge, Abbeyview Road, Clontaghnaglar, Crossgar, Downpatrick, Co Down

This is a single-span road bridge, built between 1840 and 1859, originally to carry the Abbeyview Road over a section of the former Belfast & County Down Railway line to Ballynahinch. The railway line was closed in 1950. The bridge is located along the Abbeyview Road, approximately two miles northwest of Crossgar, in the townland of Clontaghnaglar.

The bridge is primarily constructed from squared fieldstone, with sandstone used for the parapet coping, the elliptical arch's voussoirs, and as a string course at road level. A second string course may be present at arch springing level, but this is partially obscured by vegetation. It was likely designed by Sir John MacNeill, chief engineer of the Belfast & County Down Railway Company, and built by Patrick Moore. Although the bridge is considered to have industrial archaeological interest, it is not considered to be of special architectural or historic interest and was delisted on 27 November 1997.
