Description

SEE CONTRACTOR’S COMMENTS Large, two storey late Edwardian house of c.1910, with various gabled and canted bays and overall slight hint of the Domestic Revival style. The building appears to be roughly U shaped and has a gabled, hipped and mansard roof with slight overhang and artificial ‘slates’. The façade is a rough cast rendered with smooth render quoins and dressings. The windows are generally plain sash with single, double and tripartite varieties in evidence as well as paired and triple groupings. The front (E) façade is asymmetric with two full height gabled bays and a lych-gate-like, gabled, open porch. To the E there is a full height canted bay. Tall rendered chimney stack. Large modern apartment blocks sited to the W.
