Description

This bridge carries the main Belfast - Dublin double-track railway over a minor road. It comprises a slightly skewed horizontal span of reinforced-concrete girders the ends of which are supported on reinforced-concrete abutments. The wing walls of the abutments are faced with squared granodiorite rubble laid in irregular courses and coped with rusticated blocks. A two-bar galvanised metal safety rail runs across on both sides. Two height warning signs (11ft and 3.4m) are affixed to both faces.
