Description

Single storey/ two bay picturesque gate lodge opposite gates to “Streamville” 66 Loughbrickland Road (HB16/09/011). Half hipped natural slate roof (partially collapsed) with chimney stack to centre obscured by ivy growth. Deep overhanging gables with decorative bargeboards to left end and plain ones to right; projecting eaves to front and rear. No rainwater goods. Walls are painted lime render over rubble stone. Main elevation faces S to road. Each bay on this elevation has a pair of small 1/1 sash window (with horns) set within a single opening with labelled granite drip mould and granite cill. Entrance is to centre of left gable and comprises a wide sheeted timber door with labelled drip mould over. Rear elevation has single 1/1 sash window to left bay and a pair of steel casements to right bay. Ground level is almost to cill height at rear. Right gable is blank.
