Description
This was a thatched cottage situated on Oldtown Road in Annalong, County Down. Likely built between 1820 and 1839, it appeared on the 1834 Ordnance Survey map. Historical records describe it as having harled walls, a thatched roof, and a door with a glass panel flanked by two windows. The chimney was without a cap. The cottage was noted as the best-preserved thatched house in the district, although it was not considered of sufficient interest for full heritage listing. It has since been demolished and the site is occupied by a modern house.
