Description
This is a one-and-a-half-storey, three-bay house built in 1913, as indicated by the date stone reading "Abbey View AD 1913" on the front. The house occupies a prominent location and is finished with a painted rough cast render. It features a projecting central entrance bay and a single-storey, monopitched roof rear return. The roof is a hipped gable design covered in natural slate, with a prominent mid-ridge chimney stack constructed from red and blue brick in a cruciform plan. A flat-roofed timber canopy shelters the central entrance, which is a painted timber and glazed door. The windows are uPVC top-opening casement windows, and uPVC restricted opening windows (RWGs) are installed throughout. The building was surveyed but not listed, and a partial record was taken during the Second Survey due to it not being deemed worthy of a full survey.
