Description
The houses stood in Main Street, Ballycarry, Larne, County Antrim, within the townland of Redhall. Constructed between 1820 and 1839, they appeared on an Ordnance Survey map of 1831. They were a terrace of three two-storey houses, originally featuring harled and whitened stone walls and slated roofs. All windows were double-hung with full glazing bars. The doors were sheeted, with one being surmounted by a narrow four-pane fanlight, which was subsequently painted over. The houses had a frontage of approximately 15 metres. They were demolished sometime in the 1980s or 1990s and the site has been redeveloped with new houses.
