Description

This is a former vernacular mill building constructed of rubble stone, situated near a refurbished nineteenth-century mill complex at Ballyknockan. The two-storey building is now roofless and stands as a ruinous shell, believed to date from the seventeenth century and representing the oldest part of the mill complex. It was surveyed during the First Survey but not listed at that time. Due to a lack of significant architectural interest, only a partial survey was conducted during the Second Survey.
