Building was surveyed in the First Survey but not listed. Partial record only was taken during the Second Survey as the building is not worthy of a full survey. An early nineteenth-century two-bay single-storey galletted rubble stone gate lodge, historically part of Broommount Estate, now divorced from its historical context and contained in the garden of a new build house. The lodge is partially derelict; all openings have been infilled with concrete block, and its interest has been substantialy reduced. Simple squared rubble stone gate piers with galletting remain directly to north.
