Soldierstown Bridge, Soldierstown Road, Poobles, Aghalee, Craigavon, County Down, **See General Comments**

The structure is a single-span humpbacked bridge of rubble stone, carrying Soldierstown Road over the Lagan Navigation. It was surveyed during the First Survey but not listed, and a partial survey was taken during the Second Survey because it was deemed not of sufficient interest to warrant a full assessment. Unsympathetic repairs have been undertaken, including cement pointing and rendering of the underside of the bridge. The bridge sits at the edge of the scheduled monument Reach 11, Section 15 of the Lagan Navigation, recorded as ANT 067:501 & DOW 009:500, and is also referenced as IHR no. 02680:063:00. The structure is of industrial archaeological interest and is also considered a monument.
