Starraghan Bridge, Starraghan, Newtownbutler, Co Fermanagh, BT92 8FX

The Starraghan Bridge carries a single-and-a-half land road over a small river via a segmental stone arch. It is constructed of squared limestone rubble with dressed faces laid in courses, featuring finely dressed voussoirs. Concrete footings support the abutments, and the parapet is coped with large, roughly-dressed sandstone blocks. The bridge is considered to have industrial archaeological interest.

Historical mapping shows a bridge at this location on the 1834 Ordnance Survey map, and it was explicitly named 'Starraghan Bridge' on the 1857 map, appearing as a multi-arched structure. The present single-arched bridge is likely a rebuild from the later 19th century, dating between 1860 and 1879. The abutments are footed in concrete.
