Description
This is a relatively small, low-rise house of irregular plan, located on Ardress Road, Portadown, County Armagh. Part of the building dates back before 1835, but it largely took on its current appearance in the mid to later 19th century, specifically between 1840 and 1859. It was initially surveyed in the First Survey but was not listed at that time. A partial survey was taken during the Second Survey but it was deemed insufficiently significant to warrant a full survey. The building remains unlisted. In recent years, the authenticity of the building has been diminished by the loss of many original window frames. It is currently used as a house.
