Description

Grange House is a house located on Grange Road in Portadown, County Armagh. While the precise date of construction is unrecorded, it is visible on the Ordnance Survey map of 1835 and is believed to date from the late 18th century. Local tradition suggests that leaders of the Orange movement met at the house before the Battle of the Diamond, although the Orange Order itself was officially founded after that battle. The property includes the gates and walling, and remains in private ownership.
