Description

This was a former weaving factory, built after 1861, located on the Rathfriland Road, Banbridge, County Down. The building was constructed of rubble stone with brick dressings and featured a red brick chimney. It comprised a two-story dwelling and office, alongside single-story sheds, all with slated roofs. The original structure had a frontage of approximately 290 feet and was characterised by greystone walls with brick dressings. According to the First Survey card, the factory was built by Robert McClelland and later occupied by Todd Bros., before being used for poultry farming. The factory has since been demolished. A partial survey was undertaken. It is not listed for its architectural or historical interest.
