Description

The remains of a former mill or factory stand on Forestbrook Road, Rostrevor Upper Tl, Rostrevor. This large, rectangular structure was surveyed during the First Survey but was not listed. A partial record was taken during the Second Survey, as it was deemed not worthy of a detailed survey. The front wall features brick arcading with granite infill, resting on a coursed granite plinth with a chamfered string course. A crenellated parapet sits above a corbelled string course. The remaining walls are overgrown and lack coping. They are built of coursed rubble stonework. A modern house is situated within the mill remains, utilizing the internal area as a garden.
