108-118 Main Street, Greyabbey, Newtownards, Co. Down, BT22 2NG

This is a terraced block of six largely uniform, relatively small, two-storey houses located on the northwest side of Main Street in Greyabbey, Newtownards. The houses are roughly contemporary, likely dating from the late 19th century, although a terrace is indicated on an Ordnance Survey map from 1834. The facades of the houses exhibit a symmetrical arrangement, with a centrally placed doorway framed by a plain painted stone surround, and windows on either side, with two windows directly above on the first floor. Numbers 118-120, at the northeastern end, incorporate the entrance from the left side of their gable, previously used solely for the former Number 120. Number 112 has recently altered its arrangement, placing the entrance to the right, with a large, modern window to the left. Most modern glazed doors have replaced the original doors; however, Numbers 116 and 118-120 retain timber panelled doors. The windows are predominantly modern, many made of PVC and simulating Georgian style panes. The front facade windows have plain, narrow surrounds, with an exception to the ground floor window of Number 112. The rears of the houses feature mainly modern windows, with alterations to many window openings, and small extensions have been added to the rears of Numbers 110 and 112. The houses are finished with roughcast render and have pitched roofs covered in red concrete pantiles, with brick chimney stacks. Number 114 has a flat-roofed dormer window at the rear. Rainwater goods are cast iron.
