69 Church Road, Holywood, was a two-story house, likely dating to the mid-19th century. It has since been demolished and replaced with the Altona Manor apartments. The house had a slated roof with gable ends, rendered and mottled chimneys, and rendered and painted walls. An eaves cornice and frieze was present. The ground floor walls were V-jointed with pilaster quoins, a ground floor sill course, and a moulded base. There were five first-floor and four ground-floor double-hung windows without astrays, featuring a moulded architrave, bevelled keystone, and corbelled sill. The central doorway had pilaster sides, an entablature, a cornice hood, and framed a plain fanlight above a panelled door. Two steps led to the entrance, with a moulded kerb curving outwards and end piers supporting vase details. The house was in poor condition, showing signs that reconditioning work was about to begin. The front of the house measured approximately 35 feet. It was noted during a survey in 1973.
