Description
This was a two-storey Technical School designed in 1930 by W.D.R. Taggart and built in 1931. It was located at 28 Station Road, Antrim, within the Town Parks townland. The building was faced with artificial stone, with base courses of rustic brick, and was constructed in a plain, modern style, notable for its shallow hipped roofs. Its facades were symmetrical, and featured small-paned windows throughout. Described in a 1993 survey as "rather drab." The building was demolished in 2003 to make way for a road. Documentation includes a site plan dated 1930 and a specification dated 1931, both signed by W.D.R. Taggart, as well as an Ordnance Survey map from 1962.
