Non-Subscribing Church, 63 Church Street, Antrim, BT41 4BE

This is a non-subscribing church located at 63 Church Street, Antrim. It dates to the late 19th century, specifically rebuilt between 1880 and 1899. The building replaces an earlier meeting house originally erected for Scottish settlers around 1699–1700. The earlier structure was described as whitewashed and having a double row of windows on each side.

The church is a rectangular building with roughcast walls, smooth rendered dressings, and a slated roof. The main entrance faces north, but the primary, regular four-bay façade looks south. Tall windows are spaced along the long sides of the building, although all are now blocked. The windows retain moulded hoods with foliated stops. The building stands within its own grounds, set back slightly from the main street of the town, occupying a corner site.

Historical records from 1832, 1857 and 1962 Ordnance Survey maps show a central return on the rear of the building, which has since been removed. The original meeting house stood within the area of an ancient monument, identified as SMR no. ANT 173. The building is currently used as a recreational club and is situated within the Town Parks townland, and within a conservation area. It is noted as also being a monument.
