Description
Westhayes is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the late 19th to early 20th century. It is constructed of rendered rubble and features a steeply pitched double Roman tile roof that has a bell shape, overhanging eaves, and a wooden cornice. There is a brick stack located to the left of the cross passage. The cottage is two stories high and has four bays, with 3-light casements positioned between the first and second bays on the left side. The entrance features a 20th-century plank door that is partially glazed. Additionally, there is a 20th-century weather vane on the right-hand ridge.
