Description

In front of properties numbered 76 to 100 (even) on the south side of Bove Town, there are stone-flagged banks that run along the road. These banks are divided into three sections and support stone steps and paths leading to the houses. Large stone slabs support the banks on the lower side, with the banks being approximately 2 feet high in front of Nos 76 and 78, and over 6 feet high in front of Nos 98 and 100. These stone slabs and the banks are important features of the street scene. The group formed by Nos 80 to 100 (even), including No 84a, along with the stone-flagged banks in front of them, is significant.
