Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century house, located at 42 and 44 Bove Town. It is two storeys high and constructed of ashlar stone with some red brick detailing. The roof is covered in pantiles, and there’s a prominent cornice band along the eaves. The front of the house has two windows, each with a keystone above. The windows are sash windows with thin glazing bars. A central entrance features two doors, each with a rectangular fanlight above and six-panel doors. The building forms a group with numbers 36 to 44 (even) on the south side.
