Description

Nos 86 and 88 Bove Town are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, located at the end of a row. They are two storeys high and constructed from random rubble, with some brick and ashlar. No 88 is painted. The cottages have a pantile roof and parapets at the gable ends. Each property features four windows, with two on each side, which are sashes set in plain reveals and include glazing bars. There is one half-glazed door to the left of each property. These cottages, along with Nos 80 to 100 (even), including No 84a, and the stone-flagged banks in front of Nos 76 to 100 (even), form an important group.
