Description
Dial's Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared lias rubble, featuring some large dressed quoins, and has a double Roman tile roof with 19th-century brick stacks and additional ashlar stacks. The building is in an L-plan configuration, with an entrance frontage that has two storeys and three bays, showcasing irregular fenestration. The windows include small two and three-light chamfered mullioned designs. There are two door openings, one of which features a 20th-century half-glazed door. To the right return, there are some ovolo moulded stone mullioned windows, and a continuous string course runs above the heads of the ground floor windows. Inside, the farmhouse has chamfered and stopped ceiling beams, and the roof may be of cruck construction.
