Description
Manor Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the early 19th century, with possible earlier elements. It is constructed from cut and squared ham stone and features a double Roman clay tiled roof with high coped gables that suggest it may have originally been thatched. The building has brick chimney stacks at both ends and in the middle.
The farmhouse is two storeys high and has an irregular arrangement of four bays. The upper storey has small-pane casement windows arranged in a pattern of 2:2:3:3 lights, while the lower storey has a three-light window, with only one window located between the first and second bays. The lower windows are topped with timber lintels and relieving arches. To the right of the lower bay two, there is a late 19th-century timber and tiled porch featuring margined windows and a boarded inner door.
Attached to the west gable is a long single-storey building, with an outshut at the rear. The interior has not been seen.
