Description
Charlynch House and Tudor House is a rectory that has been divided into two dwellings. The rear section dates from the 17th century, while the front dates from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of rubble with hipped and gabled slate roofs and features brick stacks. The symmetrical frontage consists of three storeys and three bays, with sash windows that have glazing bars and flush frames. The central window on the first floor has a semi-circular head and Gothick glazing, and there are two angular canted bays on the ground floor. A central half-glazed door is set beneath a wooden portico with a flat hood supported by square-section columns. The two-storey range at the rear has six bays, with two-light stone-mullioned windows that include cornice dripmoulds and leaded lights, along with a central half-glazed door opening.
