Description

No. 9 Dampiet Street is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is constructed of painted brick with a pantile roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall, featuring a three-window range. The entrance consists of a six-panel door with beaded panels, set in a semicircular-arched recess, with a three-over-six pane sash window above. This entrance is flanked by four-over-eight pane sashes, with an eight-over-eight pane sash window to the left on the ground floor and a four-over-twelve pane sash to the right. To the far right, there is a segment-arched recess, likely a former carriage entrance, which has been fitted with 20th-century glazing. The interior has not been inspected.
