Description
This milestone, dating from the early 19th century, is made of sandstone and cast iron. It stands about 180 millimeters high and is set into a bank. The stone is dressed and features a cambered head. There is an attached plaque with a semi-circular headed central section, which is inscribed in incised lettering stating "9 miles to Watchet."
