Description
The outbuildings attached to the west side of Tonedale Farmhouse are single-storey structures, likely built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. They feature a large entrance to the yard on the right and are constructed from red rubble with some squared stonework, topped by a pantile roof. The front has three recesses above the ground floor: one oval recess and two semi-circular ones. There are also a pair of round-headed windows with Y-tracery and two elliptical-headed doorways. To the left, there is a very large segmental arched recess with an oval above it and two large carriage entrances below. Tonedale Farmhouse and these outbuildings form a cohesive group.
